THE STORY — SHOW OFF A LITTLE
Three patterns worth scrambling a solved cube for.
Every sequence below was checked face by face against this site's own solver before being published here — each one genuinely produces what it says it does, not just something that looked close enough. Start from a fully solved cube for all of them.
Checkerboard
Every face splits into two colours in a perfect alternating grid — your own colour and the one directly opposite it.

Six Spots
Each face turns into a solid block of one colour with a single spot of a different colour dead in the centre — six faces, six single dots.

Plus (Cross)
A cross in your own colour sits across the middle row and column of every face, with the four corners showing a second colour.
